General Manager and Director of Care

Rose is a 48-year old professional Registered Practical Nurse with 30 years’ experience serving the public. As an RPN she has acquired and maintained clinical competencies while discovering new best practices in the medical, nursing and managerial fields. As a manager favouring a collaborative and positive approach, she leads a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of personalized care to all clients. While delivering impeccable customer service, resident safety, rights and well-being are her priorities. She is passionate about helping vulnerable and elderly persons and demonstrates this compassion by performing her duties and responsibilities with a smile and a sense of humor. Yves Belisle
Head Chef

Yves Belisle, from Ottawa, Ontario, obtained his professional cooking diploma in 1984, specializing in French cuisine. Following this, he continued his education and obtained his diploma in food and hotel management at Algonquin College in 1986.

A chef with over 35 years’ experience in cooking and ensuring client satisfaction, Yves has worked in many different areas of food services: the French embassy, high end hotels, French restaurants, hospitals and retirement homes.

Yves is honoured to be part of the Aquatria team as executive chef. He enjoys team work and new challenges and is looking forward to working with the new team and to providing an excellent gastronomic experience to the residents of Aquatria.

François Lemieux

A teacher by profession, François obtained his Wine Steward certificate at La Cité in February 2013. Since then, his insatiable “thirst” for knowledge impels him to travel and discover new varieties of wine. He perfects his skills mainly in the area of food and wine pairing. “Every bottle of wine represents a science to be shared among friends.”
